In addition to their formal degrees, Dan Bloom has obtained various certifications throughout their career. Dan received an Autodesk AutoCAD User Certification from ZOOM GRAPHICS in October 2007. Dan also obtained a Certificate of Completion in Programmable Logic Controllers (Basic PLS's) from Bakersfield College in May 2007. Furthermore, they earned a Career-Technical Certificate of Completion in Automotive Technology from Portage Lakes Career Center in June 2004.

Dan Bloom has pursued professional engineering licensure in multiple states. Dan obtained a Professional Engineer in Electrical Engineering license from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors in November 2020. Prior to that, they obtained the same license from the Nevada State Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors in April 2019. Dan also acquired the Professional Engineer in Electrical Engineering license from the State of Georgia State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers & Land Surveyors in May 2019. Dan Bloom holds various other certifications, including Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) from the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) in June 2004. Dan also obtained a Secondary Teaching License in Biological Sciences from the State Of Ohio Department Of Education in July 2001 and a Secondary Teaching License in Electrician Electronics from the same institution in July 1999.

Furthermore, Dan Bloom has obtained several other certifications related to their field, including Level III Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) Certification from NASA Glenn Research Center in December 2000, Crimp, Cable & Harness Certification from ZIN Technologies, Inc. in November 2000, and Category E Soldering Operator/Inspector Certification, also from ZIN Technologies, Inc., in October 2000.

Lastly, Dan Bloom holds a DIS Security Clearance Secret from Goodyear Aerospace, obtained in January 1986.
