Ian Ives

Ian Ives has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Ian started their career as a Student Research Assistant at California State University, Bakersfield, where they studied Massive MIMO in wireless communication and conducted simulations for data detection and estimation techniques. Ian also worked as a Teacher's Assistant during this time.

In 2018, Ian joined California State University, Bakersfield as an Instructional Assistant. Later that year, they worked as a Janitor at Jani-tech.

In 2018, Ian also started working at JTI ELECTRICAL & INSTRUMENTATION, LLC as a panel fabricator, where they were responsible for building electrical panels. Ian then progressed to the role of Controls Engineer Intern, where they gained hands-on experience in controls engineering. In September 2020, they became a Controls Engineer at the same company, and currently holds the position of Controls Engineer 3 since January 2023.

Ian Ives completed their Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from California State University, Bakersfield. Ian attended the university from 2013 to 2018. Additionally, Ian obtained two certifications, namely Ignition Gold 8.1 Certification and Ignition Core 8.1 Certification, from Inductive Automation in December 2022 and September 2022 respectively.
