Madoka Hasegawa

Madoka Hasegawa is an accomplished Patent Manager at JTI since March 2019, specializing in the management and development of the company's patent portfolio while collaborating with R&D engineers to enhance the intellectual property position. Prior roles include Patent Analyst Manager at JTI, where patent analysis and competitive intelligence were pivotal for strategic decisions, and Patent Scientist at CENTREDOC, focusing on R&D projects and technology analysis in microtechnology and material science. Madoka's background also includes significant research experience at Empa, Institut FEMTO-ST, and Waseda University, covering microfabrication processes and electrochemical developments. Madoka holds a Ph.D. in Engineering and has received the 20th Ando Incentive Prize for work on microfabrication of ULSI copper interconnects.
