Marchant Kuys

Marchant Kuys is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various regions and sectors. Currently serving as the Regional President for the Americas at JTI (Japan Tobacco International) since May 2001, Marchant Kuys has also held key positions including Vice President and General Manager/CEO in Taiwan, Director General in Ukraine, and General Manager/Managing Director for Southern Africa. Prior to JTI, Marchant Kuys held finance director roles at Avis Fleet Services and National Brands Ltd and served as Group Finance Manager at Cadbury Schweppes (South Africa) Limited. Earlier career experiences include finance management within Cadbury’s Sugar Division and training as an articled clerk at PwC. Marchant Kuys holds several qualifications including a CA(SA) from the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants, a Post Graduate Degree in Accounting from Nelson Mandela University, and a Bachelor of Commerce from the same institution.
