Paulo Jesus

Paulo Jesus is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in financial management across various industries. Currently holding the position of Finance Director at JTI (Japan Tobacco International) since May 2020, Paulo also serves as the Head of Finance for Angola. Previously, Paulo was the CFO at SODIBA, and held financial leadership roles at PEP and British American Tobacco. With extensive expertise in financial accounting, cash flow management, budget processes, and compliance with auditing standards, Paulo has successfully undertaken significant projects, including a $120 million share capital increase and a $174 million loan restructuring. Paulo's education includes a degree in Economics from Universidade Lusíada de Lisboa and multiple master's degrees in Banking Management, Corporate Tax, and Management Control and Performance.
