Rafal Hemmerling has extensive experience in marketing and sales leadership, currently serving as the Marketing & Sales VP for Eastern Europe and Global Travel Retail at JTI (Japan Tobacco International) since October 2007. Previous roles at JTI include Marketing Vice President for Russia, Marketing Director, Sales Director, and Development and Planning Director in Poland, focusing on trade marketing, key account management, and business planning. Prior to JTI, Rafal worked as a Financial Controller at Philips, managing profit and loss responsibilities, and as a Product Category Finance Manager at Unilever. Rafal began a career in consultancy at F5 Konsulting sp. z o.o. after completing a degree at Poznan University of Economics and Business, followed by professional qualifications in CIMA, an MBA from IESE Business School, and various finance roles that built a strong foundation in financial management and decision support.
