Susan Chiu has over two decades of experience in strategic insights and market research, currently serving as the Strategic Insights Lead at JTI since October 2002. In this role, Susan develops capabilities to enhance brand planning, pricing strategies, and route-to-market expansion, while also focusing on making granular data accessible for informed decision-making. Previously, Susan held various managerial positions at JTI, including Strategic Insights Group Manager and Asia Pacific Strategic Insights Manager, where responsibilities included facilitating brand planning, performance tracking, and consumer segmentation initiatives across the Asia Pacific region. Before joining JTI, Susan worked as a Marketing Specialist at McKinsey & Company, specializing in telecom market landscaping and strategy development, and as a Senior Market Research Executive at BAT China. Susan holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Social Science in Government and Public Administration from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
