Yurii Makarenko

Yurii Makarenko currently serves as the Factory EHS Director for Ukraine at JTI (Japan Tobacco International) since October 2017, having previously held the position of EHS Manager. Prior to JTI, Yurii worked as a Production Manager at Bel from April 2016 to October 2017, focusing on projects to enhance production efficiency. Yurii's earlier experience includes roles as Safety Manager and Shift Supervisor at Danone Dairy from August 2010 to April 2016, as well as a Master at Belocerkovskiy Milk Plant from August 2008 to September 2010. Yurii holds a specialist degree in management of organization and a master's degree in Ecology and Food Technology from Odesa National University of Technology, alongside a lieutenant degree in food security from Odessa National Military Institute.
