Dyma Williams has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. From 2000 to 2004, they worked as a Staff Registered Nurse at Children's National Hospital. In 2004, they joined Governor Juan F. Luis Hospital & Medical Center as a Critical Care Registered Nurse until 2011. During this time, they also served as the Corporate Compliance Officer, where they developed and managed the Corporate Compliance Program. From 2012 to 2018, they were the Vice President of Risk Management and Corporate Compliance at the same hospital, overseeing the Risk Management and Corporate Compliance Programs. In 2012, they also founded their own healthcare agency, Advanced Healthcare Providers, LLC. In 2018, they took on the role of Interim Chief Executive Officer at Governor Juan F. Luis Hospital & Medical Center.
Dyma Williams has a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of the Virgin Islands, which was obtained from 1994 to 1999. Dyma also holds a Masters of Jurisprudence in Health Law from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, which they pursued and completed from 2009 to 2012.
