Nasser al Jassem

Nasser Al Jassem, PhD, LSSGB, serves as an Assistant Professor and Chairman of General Studies at Jubail Industrial College since September 2017. Prior to this role, Nasser worked as a Coating Inspector Engineer at Applus+ Velosi and as a Senior Research Associate at Texas A&M University, where responsibilities included managing a National Priority Research Program project focused on multifunctional coatings for the oil and gas sector in Qatar. Nasser's earlier experience includes positions at Texas A&M University at Qatar, SABIC, and Schlumberger, where expertise ranged from material characterization to operational monitoring and oil well services. Nasser holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science, a Master’s in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, a Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Chemistry, and an Associate’s in Chemical Engineering Technology.
