Joel Ferstay

Joel Ferstay has extensive experience in product management and data science. Joel is currently working as a Senior Product Manager at JUDI.AI since April 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Vancouver Coastal Health from November 2018 to April 2021, where they held the role of Agile Digital Product and Process Management in the healthcare sector. From January 2016 to April 2018, Joel was the Team Lead for Data Science and Visualization Product Design and Management at Awesense Inc. Joel also worked at Boeing Canada-AeroInfo from September 2013 to November 2015, focusing on product management, data science, and data visualization design. Joel's career began at Distrix Inc in March 2006, where they served as a Product Manager, Software Developer, and Designer until December 2008.

Joel Ferstay obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Cell Biology and Genetics from The University of British Columbia, starting in 2001 and ending in 2006. Following this, they pursued further education in the field of Computer Science at the same university, completing a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree from 2009 to 2011. Later, Joel continued their academic studies in Computer Science, achieving a Master of Science (MSc) degree at The University of British Columbia from 2011 to 2013.
