Rosie Makepeace

Rosie Makepeace is an experienced communications professional currently serving as Chief of Staff and Head of Communications at the Judith Neilson Foundation since January 2023. Previously, Rosie held roles such as Stakeholder Engagement Lead at ACARAeduau, Communications Strategist for the North Macedonia Governance Program at Chemonics International, and Communications Advisor for various programs including the Malawi Decentralisation Program with DAI and the Solomon Islands Market Systems Development Program with Adam Smith International. Rosie also served as Director of Communications for USAID's Governance for Inclusive Growth program in Vietnam and held several other significant communication roles across organizations such as the Attorney-General's Department, Global Communities, UNDP, and Amnesty International. Rosie holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Sydney and a BA in Communications with Honours from the University of Newcastle.
