Davies Liu

Davies Liu is the founder and CEO of Juicedata. Davies was previously a software engineer at Databricks, where they were an Apache Spark committer and the maintainer of PySpark and SparkR. Davies was also a top contributor for Spark SQL. Before that, they were a senior software engineer at Meta, where they worked in the HDFS team. Prior to that, they were a system architect and the leader of the core system platform at Douban. At Douban, they focused on distributed large scale web systems, databases, and offline computation. Davies also built an open-source distributed object storage (beansdb) and an open-source distributed computing framework in Python (DPark).
