Josh Day

Josh Day has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Josh started their career as a CRM Measurement & Analysis Intern at Best Buy, where they conducted A/B testing reports and researched customer subgroups. Josh then worked as a Statistics Consultant and Math and Statistics Tutor at Winona State University.

After that, Josh joined North Carolina State University as a Teaching Assistant and later became an Instructor for ST 311 and ST 312 courses. Josh also served as a Mentor for the Summer Institute in Biostatistics.

Josh then worked as a Statistical Development Tester at JMP, where they wrote unit test suites, redesigned user interfaces, and researched new methodologies for JMP platforms. Josh also worked as a Data Science Intern at MaxPoint.

At Valassis Digital, Josh worked as a Data Scientist II for a brief period, and currently, they are employed as a Senior Research Scientist at Julia Computing, Inc.

Josh Day has an extensive education history. Josh obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Statistics from North Carolina State University, completing their studies from 2012 to 2017. Prior to that, they attended Winona State University from 2009 to 2011, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Statistics and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Mathematics. Before their undergraduate studies, from 2004 to 2009, they also attended Winona State University and earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree, majoring in Economics and Music.
