Bernhard Schmid

Bernhard Schmid is an accomplished financial professional with extensive experience in credit risk management and wealth advisory. Currently serving as the Head of Credit Risk Management for Europe and Lombard Switzerland at Julius Baer since July 2020, Bernhard previously held the position of Head Lombard Switzerland at Bank Julius Baer & Co from August 2007 to July 2020, where Bernhard achieved the level of Managing Director Senior Advisor. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Credit Advisor and Assistant in the Corporate Front Lending Group at Credit Suisse in New York from October 2001 to May 2007. Bernhard Schmid holds multiple degrees and certifications, including Certified Wealth Management Advisor (CWMA), Financial Risk Manager (FRM), an MBA from the University of Memphis, and a Lic.rer.pol in VWL from Université de Fribourg, among others.
