Mutiu Sunmonu

Mr. Mutiu Sunmonu is a graduate of the University of Lagos, Lagos State. He holds a Bachelor of Science (First Class Honours) in Mathematics & Computer Sciences. He had worked in various positions in the Shell Petroleum Development Company, where he rose to the position of Managing Director, and subsequently Country Chairman, Shell Companies in Nigeria, positions he held till February 28, 2015. He was also conferred with the National Honour of the Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON). He is the Chairman of the board of directors of SanLeon Energy (UK) Plc, Alpha Mead Group, Coronation Insurance Plc., and Julius Berger Investments Limited. He also sits on the Board of Unilever Nigeria Plc. He was appointed to the Board of Julius Berger Nigeria Plc with effect from January 1, 2015 and became Chairman of the Board on April 1, 2016.
