Koome Kathurima

Koome Kathurima has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles.

Koome started their career at Sanergy in 2013 as a QA Assistant, where they conducted internal and external quality audits and identified areas for improvement. Koome then became the Warehouse Officer, overseeing the implementation of the MRP system and reducing inventory variance.

In 2016, Koome rejoined Sanergy as a Business Analyst and later became the Supply Chain Assistant Manager. In this role, they managed warehouse and fleet operations, implemented inventory parameters, created a fleet matrix, and implemented a condition-based maintenance program.

After Sanergy, Koome worked at Sendy Ltd as a Partner Relationship Manager, where they managed relationships with business partners. Koome then joined Kobo360 as the Country Manager for Kenya and Uganda, responsible for overall operations and later became the Head of Operations for Kenya.

Koome then joined KOKO Networks as the Head of Retail Operations, overseeing retail operations within the company. Currently, they work at Suekar Freight Ltd as the Director of Operations.

Their most recent position is at Jumba, where they serve as the Head of Sales Operations. Jumba is a tech-construction company that simplifies the purchasing and financing of construction materials.

Koome Kathurima started their education in 2010 at Mount Kenya University - MKU, where they pursued a Diploma in Information Technology. Koome completed this program in 2011. In the following year, from 2011 to 2013, they attended Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, where they obtained a degree in Information Technology.

In addition to their formal education, Koome has also obtained a certification in Cisco CCNA from the Cisco Networking Academy. The specific month and year of obtaining this certification are not provided.
