Hugo Fernandes

Hugo Fernandes is an experienced health and fitness professional with a career spanning over 15 years in the industry. Currently serving as the Health Club Manager at Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts since August 2023, Hugo oversees operations and manages fitness and lifestyle memberships. Previously, Hugo held the position of Club General Manager at Fitness First Middle East from September 2015 to July 2023, where responsibilities included managing the overall operations of the fitness club. Earlier experience includes roles as Gerente de Fitness and Personal Trainer. Hugo began the career as a Professor de Natação at Clube Natação Onda Azul from September 2008 to July 2015. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Sports Education from Universidade do Porto and a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Studies from Universidade da Maia.
