Joanne Behrens

Joanne Behrens is a seasoned professional in architecture and spatial design, currently serving as Senior Vice President of Architecture and Spatial Design at Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts since September 2023. Prior to this role, Joanne held various positions at Rosewood Hotel Group from May 2015 to September 2023, including Vice President of Design and Project Services for the Americas and Senior Director of Design and Project Services, where responsibilities included assisting design consultants with space planning and ensuring brand standards in new developments and renovations. Earlier experience includes serving as Regional Vice President of Design and Planning for Hyatt Hotels Corporation from 2012 to 2015, alongside roles as Director of Design. Joanne's professional journey began at BauerLatoza Studio and Lohan Anderson, where project management and design leadership were key responsibilities. Joanne holds a Master’s Degree in Architecture from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from Universidad Central de Venezuela.
