Joanne Taylor

Joanne Taylor has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Joanne is currently working as the Senior Director of F&B Marketing at Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts since June 2022. Previously, they held the position of Cluster Director of Marketing at Marriott International from January 2021 to March 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Cluster Director of Marketing at Jumeirah at Etihad Towers & Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island Resort from November 2019 to December 2020. Joanne also worked as the Director of Marketing at Yas Hotel Abu Dhabi, operated by Marriott International, converted to W Abu Dhabi - Yas Island from October 2018 to November 2019. Joanne had a long tenure with Marriott International starting in 2012, where they held various positions such as Area Director of Marketing, Assistant Director of Public Relations & Marketing Communications, Senior Marketing and Public Relations Manager, and Public Relations Manager at Dubai Marriott Hotels. Prior to their time at Marriott International, Joanne worked as an Account Manager at Grayling Momentum and as an Account Executive at Petersens.

Joanne Taylor obtained a Bachelor's degree in Asia Pacific Studies and Management Joint Honors from the University of Leeds in 2007. Prior to that, they attended Howell's School Llandaff from 1996 to 2004. In 2008, they further pursued their education by completing an MSc in Strategic Marketing at Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd.
