Smilee Hermoso

Smilee Hermoso has a diverse work experience spanning across multiple industries. Smilee started their career as a Computer Graphic Designer at Pixel Perfect Graphics Inc. in 2002. From 2005 to 2008, they worked as an Information System Analyst and Computer Programmer at the Philippines Department of Public Works and Highways.

In 2008, Smilee joined Jumeirah Group / Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts, where they took on various roles. Smilee started as an In-house Artist, responsible for creating graphical materials and managing marketing communications. Smilee then became a Digital Designer, delivering digital creative assets, managing email campaigns, and ensuring brand standards conformity. Later, they worked as a Digital Designer and Marketing Assistant, coordinating with external agencies, designing marketing collateral, and developing branded websites. Finally, they served as a Marketing Communication Assistant Manager, assisting in brand strategy implementation and monitoring brand compliance. Smilee left the company in 2016.

In 2017, Smilee joined One&Only Resorts as the Director of Marketing for One&Only Royal Mirage and One&Only The Palm. Smilee'sresponsibilities included developing and executing marketing strategies, promoting luxurious rooms, dining, and spa, and supporting revenue-generating departments. Smilee remained in this role until 2023.

From May 2023, Smilee Hermoso has been serving as the Associate Director of Marketing & Communications (Head of Marketing) at Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts.

Smilee Hermoso attended the Technological Institute of the Philippines from 1997 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering. In 2002, they obtained a certification as an Electronics and Communications Engineer from the Professional Regulation Commission - Republic of the Philippines. In 2010, they also obtained a certification in the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People from Franklin Covey Gibraltar.
