Vikas Jatana

Vikas Jatana has over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Vikas started their career at Hyatt Hotels Corporation as an Assistant Manager in 1999 and progressed to roles such as Assistant Director of Engineering and Director of Engineering. Vikas then joined Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts as Director of Engineering in 2012, where they served for five years. Since 2017, Vikas has been working at Jumeirah Group / Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts, initially as Complex Director of Engineering and currently as Director of Engineering.

Vikas Jatana holds an MBA degree from Lucknow University, which they obtained from 1997 to 1999. Before that, they completed their BE degree in Mechanical Engineering from Karnatak University, from 1992 to 1996. In addition to their degrees, they have certifications in NFPA 101 Life Safety Code, NFPA 25 Testing & Maintenance Water Based Fire Protection System, and NFPA 72 National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code from the National Fire Protection Association USA.
