Dejan Pecevski

Dejan Pecevski, Ph.D., currently serves as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Jumio Corporation, where the focus is on developing deep learning models for automatic data extraction from ID document images. Previous experience includes roles as an Artificial Intelligence Engineer, concentrating on deep learning, machine learning, and computer vision, at Jumio Corporation, and a Scientific Software Developer for Data Analysis at UBIMET, specializing in the development and optimization of algorithms for meteorological dataset analysis. A postdoctoral researcher at Graz University of Technology, Pecevski investigated machine learning applications in computational neuroscience, building on earlier work as a research assistant exploring neural circuit functions. Earlier experience includes software development at T-Mobile, where billing mediation software for telecommunications traffic was developed using multiple programming languages. Pecevski holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Graz University of Technology and a Diplom Engineer in Computer Science from Sts. Cyril and Methodious University.
