Jay Newman

Jay Newman is the CFO at Jump Associates. Prior to that, they were with DoubleGDP, where they served as Partnerships from March 2019 to December 2020. At DoubleGDP, Jay helped build an end-to-end software platform for new cities and large-scale real estate developments in emerging markets. The software helped residents to invest in their homes and community, feel more secure, and better access community services. Jay assisted property developers with the full sales, marketing and customer support cycle required to grow population—from interest and purchase through construction and move-in. DoubleGDP's platform and residential growth programming was in active use by a new city outside Lusaka, Zambia to engage with more than 2,000 people each week. The team was fast-growing and based across Lusaka, Lagos, Nairobi, India and the US. Jay was a member of the 4-person leadership team that achieved 10 consecutive months of 10% WoW growth and scaled globally to 15 team members.

Jay Newman has an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, a BBA from University of Notre Dame, and has completed the Integral Leadership Program at Stagen Leadership Academy.

Jay Newman reports to Dev Patnaik, CEO. Jay Newman works with Mark Techaphunphol - Director of IT, Leigh Solidum - Head of Finance, and Claudia Glasser - Director, Business Development.
