John Nagel

John Nagel is a seasoned professional in corporate strategy and legal counsel, currently serving as the Director of Corporate Strategy at Jump Trading LLC since July 2017. Prior to this role, John held multiple senior positions at Citadel LLC, including Managing Director and Senior Deputy General Counsel, as well as Managing Director and General Counsel at both Citadel Securities and Citadel Investment Group from January 2004 to December 2016. Earlier in their career, John practiced law at Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP, focusing on financial institution regulation, and served as a Law Clerk for the Honorable Walter King Stapleton at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 3rd Circuit. John holds a Juris Doctor degree from Duke University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Physics from Dartmouth College.
