Kieran Lynch

Kieran Lynch is a quantitative researcher currently employed at Jump Trading Group since September 2024, with prior experience in the same role at Squarepoint Capital from January 2020 to August 2024. Earlier in career, Kieran worked as a weather analyst at DXT Commodities SA between April 2015 and December 2019 and completed a PhD in Meteorology at the University of Reading, where Kieran was a funded student from October 2011 to April 2015. Kieran also served as an analyst at Centrica from December 2013 to April 2014, contributing to the weather and UK power desks by applying PhD research, and worked on various ad hoc projects as an analyst at FreshMinds from February 2011 to August 2011. Kieran holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree from the University of Reading and a Master of Science degree in Physical Geography from the University of Bristol.
