Kinjal Sensharma

Kinjal Sensharma is a highly skilled professional with experience in quantitative research and machine learning. Currently serving as a Global Alpha Researcher at Trexquant Investment LP, Kinjal focuses on developing advanced machine learning and statistical models to generate market alpha. Previously, Kinjal held the position of Quantitative Research Intern, crafting market-neutral strategies and trading signals across Japan, the US, and European markets, receiving a Pre-Placement Offer for exceptional performance. Kinjal's machine learning expertise was further demonstrated during an internship at LimeChat, where an advanced RAG-based chatbot was developed. As an advisor and executive head in the Kharagpur Data Analytics Group, Kinjal contributed to various projects while also completing an ML Research Internship at Wadhwani AI, enhancing OOD detection and model interpretability. Kinjal is pursuing a B.Tech+M.Tech in Chemical Engineering/Financial Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
