Kinjal Sensharma

Kinjal Sensharma is an accomplished quantitative researcher currently working at Trexquant Investment LP, focusing on quantitative medium frequency alpha and strategy research since May 2024. Prior experience includes roles as a global alpha researcher, where sophisticated machine learning and statistical models were developed to outperform the market, as well as a quantitative research intern, where market-neutral strategies and trading signals were created across multiple regions. Kinjal has held positions as a machine learning intern at LimeChat and a research intern at the University of Alberta, engaging in advanced chatbot development and cerebral image processing. Additional experience includes serving as a machine learning engineer at Chi SquareX, an advisor and executive head at Kharagpur Data Analytics Group, and as a data science consultant and research intern in various impactful projects. Kinjal is pursuing a B.Tech+M.Tech degree in Chemical Engineering/Financial Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, with an expected graduation in April 2025.
