Shaun Nirenstein

Shaun Nirenstein is an experienced technology professional with a strong background in software engineering, research and development, and academic instruction. Currently on garden leave from Jump Trading Group, where contributions as R&D Architect included initiating and leading the development of a primary trading platform, Shaun's previous roles include Software Engineering Manager at NVIDIA, focused on Direct3D driver performance, and Researcher and Lead Developer at the University of Cape Town, where Shaun managed a team developing a system for creating multi-user 3D virtual environments. Shaun's extensive experience also encompasses leadership in software visualization for electromagnetic simulations at EM Software & Systems. Educational achievements include a PhD and an honors degree in Computer Science from the University of Cape Town, complemented by specialized training in Object-Oriented Analysis and Design.
