Stefano Tomasello

Stefano Tomasello has a diverse work experience spanning over many years. Stefano is currently working at JumpCloud, where they hold the position of Web Development Manager since October 2021. Prior to this role, they served as a Senior Developer at JumpCloud from September 2020.

Before joining JumpCloud, Stefano worked as a Technical Consultant for various clients as a self-employed individual starting from March 2016. During this time, they developed a custom Wordpress plugin for BWW Media Group, automating the migration of their websites.

From February 2019 to September 2020, Stefano worked as a Senior Software Engineer at TrainingPeaks. Here, they refactored the existing marketing content API using various technologies such as AWS, API Gateway, GraphQL, Javascript, Lambda functions, Node JS, and the Serverless framework. Stefano also extended the functionality of the company's headless Wordpress implementation and worked on 3rd-party API integrations.

Prior to TrainingPeaks, Stefano owned and operated their own business called Via Bicycle Cafe. From November 2014 to December 2017, they managed all aspects of the business's operations, including inventory management, shipping/receiving, and bookkeeping. Stefano was also responsible for designing and maintaining the company website and e-commerce platform.

Earlier in their career, Stefano worked as a Senior Developer at Drumroll from August 2008 to September 2014. Here, they collaborated with a small team on various client and internal projects, ensuring web responsiveness across multiple platforms. Before that, they worked as a Senior Technical Designer at The Think Tank (T3) from April 2005 to July 2008, where they created interactive pieces using Flash, PHP, and other technologies. From November 2003 to March 2005, Stefano worked as a Senior Interactive Developer at The Well Advertising, Inc., where they primarily focused on server-side scripting and Flash/Actionscript development.

These experiences demonstrate Stefano's strong technical skills and their ability to work with different technologies and platforms throughout their career.

From 1997 to 2001, Stefano Tomasello attended North Central College, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
