Dr. PennElys Droz, of Anishinaabe and European descent, is a mother of five, Power Building and Curriculum Coordinator with NDN Collective, and a founding board member of Sustainable Nations, an Indigenous regenerative community development organization. She has worked in Indigenous engineering, regenerative infrastructure, and economic development for over twenty years, with the vision of the re-development of thriving ecologically, culturally, and economically sustainable Indigenous Nations. Understanding that healing and the development of governance based on care of the human and non-human relationships is foundational to building the infrastructure, organizations, and businesses of the future, she works to support Tribes, cities, organizations, businesses, and collectives to deepen the regenerative nature of their strategies and practices. She is also a natural builder, bioremediator, plant medicine maker, and lover of engaging with children, water, dirt, moss, lichen, and fungi.
