Rachel Howe

Rachel Howe serves as the Programme & Strategy Lead and Cohort Manager at Jumpstart since April 2023. Previously, Rachel gained experience in private banking during a brief finance work placement at Kleinwort Hambros in September 2022. As a freelance content writer at SWAP’ra, Rachel produced biographies for female composers for the ‘Forgotten Voices’ database between February and July 2022. Rachel contributed to the Oxford Lieder Festival from July 2021 to July 2022 in events and marketing, while also managing the finances and publicity for The Oxford Gargoyles as Business Manager from August 2019 to September 2021. A Senior Choral Scholar at The Queen's College, Oxford from October 2018 to July 2021, Rachel was awarded the Hildburg Williams Lieder Scholarship. Additional roles include an internship at KEEN in September 2020, presidency of The Eglesfield Musical Society from July 2019 to July 2020, and working as a teaching assistant at the Stephen Perse Foundation from September 2017 to July 2018. Rachel holds a Bachelor's degree in Music from the University of Oxford, completed in 2021.
