Matt Wade has worked in a variety of roles over the years, beginning with their internship at CNN in 2005. After working as a Golf Pro Shop Night Manager at the Country Club of Troy in 2005, they also worked as a Transportation Construction Inspector for the New York State Department of Transportation and a Field Office Intern for Clark Construction in 2007. From 2009 to 2015, they worked at the Naval Nuclear Laboratory as a Senior Software Developer/Programmer, Senior Project Manager, Software Developer/Programmer, and Mechanical Engineer. From 2015 to 2017, they were a SharePoint Administrator/Knowledge Manager at the International Capital & Management Company. In 2017, they became the Vice President of Client Engagement and Cloud Services Lead at H3 Solutions Incorporated. In 2020, they took on the role of Topic Track Lead at The Microsoft 365 Conference. Additionally, since 2016, they have been an Event Speaker for All Things Office 365, Microsoft Teams, & Azure Cognitive Services for Self.
Matt Wade obtained a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from The George Washington University in 2008. Matt then went on to pursue a Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, which they completed in 2009. In May of 2009, they obtained an Engineer in Training (EIT) certification from the New York State Education Department. In April of 2016, they obtained a Microsoft Office Specialist: SharePoint 2013 certification from Certiport - A Pearson VUE Business.
