Meli Axford

Meli Axford has a wealth of experience in the field of product design and development. Meli began their career in 1995 as a Lecturer and Master of Commerce Student at Queensland University of Technology. In 1998, they worked as a Lotus Notes Application Developer for SmartLearning. Meli then moved on to Suncorp as a Web Application Developer in 2000. In 2012, they joined FIGJAM IT Pty Ltd as a Senior UX Designer / ReactJS Developer, Product Designer / ReactJS Developer, and UX Designer. Meli then moved to Hostfully in 2015 as Head of UX. In 2018, they became VP of Product at Flatfile Inc. and Product/UX Designer at Whooshkaa. In 2019, they were Head of Product at Lysn Health. Finally, in 2020 they were appointed Chief Product Officer at Junction AI and Head of Design at Seventh.ai.

Meli Axford has an extensive education history. Meli began their educational journey in 1982, when they obtained their Senior Certificate from Moranbah State High School. In 1988, they earned a Bachelor of Business from QUT (Queensland University of Technology) in Accounting and Finance. In 1994, they completed a Graduate Diploma in Advanced Accounting from QUT (Queensland University of Technology) and a Professional Year from The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia. In 1996, they obtained a Master of Commerce from QUT (Queensland University of Technology) in Management Accounting and Finance. In 2005, they earned a Diploma of Project Management from Australian College of Project Management. In 2012, they completed a Lean LaunchPad from Udacity in Customer Development and Business Model Design. In 2016, they obtained two certifications from Duolingo in Italian Fluency: Beginner and Elementary (Estimated).
