Ruurd Potma

Ruurd Potma is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in motion graphics, packaging, and content creation. Since June 2016, Ruurd has held multiple roles within Junction creative + digital agency, specializing as a motion designer and graphical creator. Prior to this, Ruurd worked as a motion graphic designer at Syntraks Media from September 2006 to June 2016, where skills in animating static advertisements for television and digital platforms were honed. Ruurd also contributed as a multimedia production professional at Omrop Fryslan from 2007 to 2009. In addition to design expertise, Ruurd has a passion for woodworking, creating handcrafted wooden furniture and objects through a separate venture, Made by Ruurd, established in January 2007. Ruurd holds a Bachelor’s degree from NHL Hogeschool, earned between 2003 and 2008, and an MBO 4 diploma from Friese Poort Sneek, completed in 2003.
