Polina Iakovleva

Polina Iakovleva began their work experience as a Hostel owner at Indie Hostel from February 2013 to March 2014. Polina then worked as a Python backend developer at REG.RU from February 2019 to September 2019, where they completed individual tasks and contributed to a team project on a notification system for an internship platform. Polina'sspecific responsibility was to implement push notifications.

Following their time at REG.RU, Polina worked as a Junior Python Developer on a freelance basis from January 2018 to September 2020. During this period, they participated in a tech travel project where they integrated Google Cloud Storage and Google Vision to upload photos while excluding adult/violent content and detecting landmarks. Polina also maintained a project involving web scraping, data calculation, and storage in Google Spreadsheet.

Most recently, Polina has been working as a Back End Developer at June Homes since September 2020.

Polina Iakovleva earned a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from Ural State University named after A.M.Gorky between 2004 and 2010. In 2014, they pursued self-studies in Computer Science. Furthermore, they obtained an edX Honor Code Certificate for Introduction to Linux from edX in August 2015.
