Åse Leknes

Åse Leknes has a diverse work experience in various industries. Åse began their career as a Project Assistant at BBDO in 1997 before moving on to Media Holding ASA as an Editorial Assistant. Åse then joined Broadcast Text International, where they held several roles, including Key Account Manager, Production Manager, and eventually Country Manager for Norway. In 2011, Åse became the Sales & Marketing Director at Bio-Visjon before transitioning to BTI Studios as a Special Projects Manager and later as a Business Development Manager. From 2020 to 2021, they worked as the MD of Dubbing & Subtitling Operations at Iyuno Media Group. Åse then served as the Managing Director at Titles-On Ltd from 2021 to 2022. Most recently, they held the positions of Country Manager for Norway and COO Localization & Content Services at JuneFirst AB. Throughout their career, Åse has gained extensive experience in management, business development, sales, and marketing.

Åse Leknes attended BI Norwegian Business School from 1995 to 1997, but did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study. In 1994, they briefly studied Marketing at MI. Additionally, Åse Leknes pursued a field of study in TV/Film PR at MI, although the exact duration of this education is unspecified.
