Paulo Xavier has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Paulo started their career at CAPGov as a Full Stack Developer, where they developed an application for managing developer hours and service orders. Paulo then worked at ProntLife as a Software Engineer, where they focused on mobile application development using React Native. Later, they became the Tech Lead at ProntLife, leading a team of developers, designers, and DevOps professionals. During their time at ProntLife, Paulo led the development of the Minha Saúde App, which received endorsement from the United Nations and was used by numerous municipalities and companies in Brazil. Paulo also played a key role in migrating ProntLife to a React Native app.

After their tenure at ProntLife, Paulo joined Passei Direto as a Senior Software Engineer and later as a Tech Lead. Paulo 'sresponsibilities included implementing the Design System in the organization, developing frontend standards for web and mobile, and providing technical advice to their peers. Paulo achieved significant accomplishments at Passei Direto, including reducing technical debt, establishing Design System libraries, and improving mobile task delivery time. Currently, Paulo is working at Jungle Scout as a Senior Software Engineer and Technical Lead, leading the Orca team in achieving an increase in daily active users for sellers on the platform. Paulo focused on data insights, UX improvements, and developed an in-house chatbot using industry standards.

Paulo Xavier obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universidade Federal Rural do Rio de Janeiro, where they studied from 2013 to 2018. Paulo later pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science at Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, studying from 2019 to 2024.
