Yash Sankrityayan

Yash has been passionate about tech startups and entrepreneurship since his engineering undergrad days at India's BITS Pilani. He has been an active venture capital investor in India and South East Asia since 2014 and has led the execution of more than 15 investments across both geographies. He has also been recognized in the Forbes Asia 30 Under 30 list in 2020.

Before Jungle he spent nearly two years at the Venture Capital team at International Finance Corporation (the private investment arm of the World Bank Group). At IFC, Yash was covering India and South East Asia and was integrally involved with more than five late stage venture investments in the internet and healthcare sectors, such as BigBasket.com (India’s largest online grocer), Lenskart.com (India’s largest online eyewear brand) and Portea Medical (India’s largest home healthcare company). Prior to IFC, Yash spent one and a half years at o3 Capital, a leading mid-market investment bank in India focused on growth equity fundraising and M&A.

As a Managing Partner at Jungle Ventures, Yash serves as the board member with a few of the portfolio companies, where he works closely with the founders on growth, team building, strategy and fundraising.
