Elizabeth Sustar Nye currently serves as the Operations Director at the Junior League of Chicago, a position held since October 2023. Previously, Elizabeth held multiple roles at Roosevelt University, including Assistant Dean of Performance Activities from February 2012 to October 2023 and advisor to the CCPA Student Council. Earlier career highlights include serving as Director of Performance Activities at Kennesaw State University, Production Manager at the Bailey Performance Center, and an Orchestra Management Fellow with the League of American Orchestras. Elizabeth's formative experiences include project assistantships at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, seasonal orchestra management at the Aspen Music Festival and School, and operational roles with the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestras. Elizabeth earned an MBA in Arts Administration from the Wisconsin School of Business and a BA in Music and German from Providence College.

Founded in 1912 by Lucy McCormick Blair Lynn, we reach out to women of all races, religions and national origins who demonstrate an interest in and commitment to voluntarism. Our 1,500 members donate 200,000 volunteer hours each year to build better, healthier communities in the Chicagoland area. Together, we empower 2,100 at-risk women and children each month through mentoring, education, advocacy and 15 on-going community projects.
