Rafael McDonald

Rafael McDonald currently serves as Parent Liaison for the Black Latinx Asian Charter Collaborative since August 2021 and has held multiple managerial roles in the restaurant industry, including Manager at Junior's Cheesecake and General Manager at Guys American Kitchen & Bar. As a member of the Facilities Expansion Committee and PTA President at Family Life Academy Charter Schools, Rafael engages in educational community efforts. Previous experience includes Assistant General Manager at T.G.I. Fridays and Assistant Manager at Houlihan's Restaurants, where Rafael managed staff operations and upheld service standards. Additionally, Rafael worked in legal capacities as a Legal Assistant Office Manager for the New York State Attorney General and an intern at the Better Business Bureau. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from John Jay College and a paralegal certification from Berkeley College.
