Kurt Windisch

Kurt Windisch is an experienced engineering professional with a strong focus on routing analytics and IP Multicast technologies. Since January 2008, Kurt has served as a Distinguished Engineer at Juniper Networks, specializing in AI/ML-driven routing analytics. Previously, Kurt held roles at Juniper as a Principal Engineer, leading API programmability for routing control, and as a Senior Software Engineer, focusing on new technologies in routing automation and system programmability. Prior experience includes positions at Cisco Systems as a Technical Leader, responsible for IP Multicast Routing software for the IOS-XR operating system, as well as roles at Internet Engineering Group and the University of Oregon Advanced Network Technology Center, where Kurt developed multicast routing software and conducted research. Kurt holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Oregon.
