Tomohiro Furuya

Tomohiro Furuya has extensive experience in executive leadership roles within the technology and telecommunications sectors, currently serving as Vice President and Country Manager for Japan at Juniper Networks since May 2015. Prior to this, Furuya was the Country Manager and Managing Director at Coriant, Inc. from September 2010 to May 2015. Furuya also held the position of General Manager of the IP Group and Senior Director of Business Development at Alcatel-Lucent from April 2006 to September 2010, and served as Country Manager for Riverstone Networks, Japan, from December 2000 to April 2006. Earlier in the career, Furuya was a Senior Sales Manager at Cabletron Systems from 1997 to 2000. Educational qualifications include studies at Chapman University from 1992 to 1996 and the University of San Diego from 1990 to 1991, along with completing early education at St. Joseph International School from 1978 to 1990.
