Scott Spinney's work experience began in 1984 with Kellogg Company, where they held various roles including Line Manager, Line Team Manager, Shift Manager, Business Unit Manager, Operation Manager, Operations Specialist, and Lead Food Technologist. During their time at Kellogg, they were responsible for overseeing production lines, implementing process improvements, and providing technical expertise and troubleshooting support. Scott also worked closely with cross-functional teams on product testing and launches, as well as implementing electronic production reporting. In 2021, Spinney joined Spinney Technology LLC as a Food Technologist before becoming Vice President of Manufacturing at JUNKLESS® Foods Inc.
Scott Spinney attended Rogers High School from 1978 to 1981. After completing high school, they pursued further education at Grand Rapids Community College from 1981 to 1983. During this time, they earned an Associate's degree in Criminal Justice and Corrections.
