Celal Tekeli has worked for several companies since 1991. Celal started their career at Nichols Aluminum as a Director of Mill Finish Process Reliability. In this role, they managed a team of 3 Managers and 82 Maintenance and Staff personnel and implemented maintenance planning scheduling, work orders, and PM system PdM development. Celal then moved into the role of Plant Manager, managing overall manufacturing operations of the division consisting of over 96 union associates and 16 salaried staff. During this time, they utilized lean concepts to redesign the layout of the entire manufacturing facility to improve product flow, minimize material handling and reduce scrap. In 2009, they were temporarily transferred to the Lincolnshire, IL location as Plant Manager, leading 146 employees in economic downturn to produce 90% of total company throughput. Here, they led the Lincolnshire Plant to achieve a 50% increase in productivity. In 2014, they moved to Gopher Resource as Plant Manager, managing overall battery recycling process including Battery Breaking, Smelting (Reverb and Blast Furnace) Refining and Waste Water treatment operation of the division consisting of over 240 associates and 50 salaried staff. Finally, in 2016, they joined Jupiter Aluminum Corporation as Vice President Operations and Director of Manufacturing. In this role, they managed the company's three plant, one union and two non-union manufacturing plants.
Celal Tekeli obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from the University of Phoenix in 2018, with a field of study in Business Administration and Management, General. Celal also holds certifications from various institutions, including a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from SBTI obtained in September 2010, an Operations Management Certificate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison obtained in May 2007, and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from TBM Consulting Group obtained in April 2003.
