Amadeo Alentorn

Amadeo Alentorn has extensive experience in the finance and technology sectors, currently serving as the Head of Systematic Equities and Investment Manager at Jupiter Asset Management since July 2020. Prior to this role, Amadeo was the Head of Research & Fund Manager for Systematic Equities at Merian Global Investors from October 2018 to July 2020, and Head of Research & Fund Manager for the Global Equity Team at Old Mutual Global Investors from 2009 to 2018. Amadeo's earlier career included positions at Old Mutual Asset Managers, the Bank of England, and various software development roles, beginning with Tolomatic in 1998. Amadeo holds a PhD in Computational Finance and a MSc in Computer Science from the University of Essex, as well as a BEng (Hons) in Robotics and Automated Systems from the University of Plymouth.
