Damien Bruno

Damien Bruno has been working in the field since 2013, starting at Victorian Clinical Genetics Services (VCGS). At VCGS, they have held the roles of Chief Executive Officer, Laboratory Director, Deputy Laboratory Director, and Head of the Translational Genomics Unit. In 2022, they began working at Jupiter Ionics as Head of Operations and Planning, and is currently looking for their next opportunity.

Damien Bruno holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the University of Melbourne, which they obtained in 2009. Prior to that, they completed a BAppSc Honours degree in Laboratory Medicine from RMIT University in 2005, and a Dip Mgt in Frontline Management from the same university in 2004. Damien's education began in 1999 at Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School.
