Apekshit Sharma

Apekshit Sharma has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and software development. Apekshit is currently working as the Director of Engineering at Jupiter since April 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Engineering Manager at the same company from July 2020 to March 2022.

Before joining Jupiter, Apekshit worked as a Software Engineer at Hedera Hashgraph from October 2019 to July 2020.

Apekshit also worked at ThunderCore, where they held the positions of Engineering Manager from February 2019 to July 2019 and Senior Software Engineer from May 2018 to January 2019. At ThunderCore, they led a team of 4 members and was involved in the development and launch of several products.

Apekshit has also contributed as a Committer at Apache HBase from June 2016 to May 2018, where they actively participated in the development and maintenance of the distributed and scalable database.

Apekshit started their professional career at Google Inc. as a Software Engineer from October 2012 to March 2015. Apekshit gained experience in error detection and corrective responses in mapmaker during their internship at Google Inc. from May 2011 to July 2011.

Apekshit has also served as a speaker at conferences and as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. Additionally, they worked as a Mentor at Avanti Fellows from March 2010 to April 2011.

Apekshit Sharma completed their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, between 2008 and 2012. From 2015 to 2017, they pursued their Masters in Data Science at the University of California, Berkeley. Additionally, they took a Non-Degree Option program in Computer Science at Stanford University.
