Natasha Kahungi

Natasha Kahungi is a legal professional with extensive experience in journalism and editorial roles, currently serving as Bureau Chief for East Africa at JURIST since November 2022. Natasha's responsibilities include documenting legal news and commentary on human rights and the rule of law in Africa. As News Editor and subsequently Bureau Chief for Africa at the University of Nairobi Law Journal, Natasha significantly improved publication quality and student engagement in legal writing. A brief tenure as a Legal Intern at Kimondo Gachoka & Company Advocates involved comprehensive research in corporate law, while previous internship experience at the National Council for Law Reporting focused on drafting legal documents and assessing landmark cases.
