Mayumi Kawai

Mayumi Kawai has extensive work experience in various finance and accounting roles. Mayumi worked at Jurlique from November 2018 to February 2023, starting as a Finance Manager and eventually becoming the Head of Group Financial Control. Mayumi joined EY in April 2014 and held multiple roles including Accountant, Senior Accountant, Assistant Manager, and Manager in the assurance department. In 2016 and 2017, Mayumi had two secondments at Ernst & Young ShinNihon LLC, where they worked as a Senior Accountant on multinational engagements involving audit, compliance, and reviewing financial reporting. Prior to that, Mayumi worked as a Business Advisor at Moore Stephens SA & NT from February 2009 to April 2014.

Mayumi Kawai pursued their education in the field of accounting. Mayumi completed their Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Accounting from the University of South Australia between 2005 and 2007. Mayumi then went on to obtain a Diploma in Chartered Accounting from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, which they completed from 2009 to 2012. After their Diploma, they obtained the Chartered Accountant certification from the same institution in January 2013.
