Meg Allen

Meg Allen has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Meg most recently worked at Just For Kix as the Head Instructor, starting in September 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Creative Arts Director at Camp Cayuga starting in June 2020. In 2019, they worked as a 1st Grade Teacher at Level Up Academy. From September 2014 to February 2020, they held roles as Front of House Staff and Camp Management Intern at SteppingStone Theatre. From August 2018 to June 2019, they worked as a 1st Grade Teacher at Minnesota Transitions Charter School. Meg also worked as a Teacher at Banaadir Academy South from August 2017 to June 2018. In addition, they gained valuable experience as a Student Teacher at ST PAUL PUBLIC SCHOOLS from September 2016 to June 2017. In March 2016, they worked as a Residential Advisor at EXPLO, where they prepared and taught lessons, developed curriculums, and worked with diverse youth in a residential setting. Meg also worked as a Student Outreach Assistant at the University of Minnesota Learning Abroad Center from March 2014 to January 2015. Their earliest work experience was as a Camp Counselor at YMCA of Metropolitan Milwaukee from May 2012 to August 2013.

Meg Allen completed their education in a chronological order. Meg started with their high school education at Nicolet High School, where they obtained their High School Diploma in General Studies in the years 2008 to 2012. Meg then continued their studies at the University of Minnesota from 2012 to 2016, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Elementary Education Foundations. Afterward, they pursued further education at the same institution and obtained a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in K-6 Education from 2016 to 2017.
